Being on bedrest SUCKS!

i just had to let that out. I think i sit here and worry more knowing i cant do all what i want to and need to do to keep myself busy. All i can think about is the time im using up now instead of when the baby comes!!! Im so annoyed and yet i feel like a failure because i couldnt make it through without using my time.

Aw....don't feel like a failure!!! You're doing what's best for yourself and the baby. It's gonna be a long, rough one---but you're going to make it through. Try keeping your mind busy with crosswords and other fun puzzles....or, 101 ways to decorate and re-decorate your nursery....or, fun things to find for cheap on craigslist or ebay!!! Just thinking of some things that I was doing when I was jobless and bored out of my mind. Oohh...or you could learn a second language!! Sign language is supposed to be great for babies to learn!!!

Bed rest is tough---I was there with my last pregnancy. You just need to get into the right mindset though---that you are resting for the benefit & health of your unborn child. Thank goodness we have the technologies & quality care that we do in 2008 so that we can be aware of any possible issues & nip them in the bud.

Try not to worry yourself or be upset b/c it doesn't help in the end. Get some good books and know that you will basically never have this alone time again. Try to take advantage.

I don't think it should mess with your maternity leave time, I believe its still consider disablitily. The same thing happen to one of my sisters and still got her 6wk leave. Check with your job.

catch up on your sleep or your soaps.
