My girlfriend used this book for her kids and they are both amazing sleepers!! I definitely plan on getting this book! I heard that it's not good to read until after baby actually gets here - is that true?

I don't think that was addressed in the book but from my friend's experience, she read to her first born in utero and played classical music for him close to every day and from the day he was born he needed constant attention/stimulation I used to babysit him and it was insane. With her second she didn't do either and she is a content little baby so I chose not to do those things. (I teach though so when I read to the kids the baby is hearing it too) and my DD is very content.

OK You have been witness to my "baby brain" or lack thereof.

Either way, I wouldn't say it won't make sense but just make sure you read it before the baby is 6 weeks old.
