Question about the next cycle.

Last cycle I stimmed for 15 days. Will they just start me with a higher dose of the Follistim this time so I can do it for less time? Or will they stay with the same protocall that worked last time?

It's hard to say, but since they now have a better idea of how you responded the first time, chances are they will probably change your protocol a bit.

I didn't do IUI w/injectibles, but this is what happened after my first IVF cycle. Based on how slowly I responded and how many eggs were retreived, they started me at a higher stim dose right from the start and instead of stimming for 13 days, I stimmed for only 9 before my trigger.

My meds were upped for my second injectible cycle...and upped a few times during the cycle. But it was well worth it!! 3 big follies compared to one last month. They'll probably start you higher now that they have an idea about how you respond! When do you go back?
