I just got back from the St.Gerard celebration

I just got back from the St.Gerard celebration
At St.Lucy's church in Newark, NJ. It was amazing. They did a mass and then the priest said the homily and then invited all of the TTC ladies and couples to come forward for a blessing. Then you could light a candle and pray at the statue of St.Gerard. We also received a blessed medal, hankerchief and prayer book. I lit a candle especially for my LIF girls on here  Even though I don't "know" you I feel like we are all sisters in this together, regardless of our religion. It was amazing to see all the different ages, races and backgrounds that were there. I left feeling very peaceful and hopeful for the future

How wonderful of an experience for you. A LIF/IFer gave me a prayer of St. Gerard when I was TTC. Despite the fact that both DH and are are Jewish, it meant a lot to me. A blessing is a blessing and I was very proud to carry it with me everyday. Good thoughts helped me through the process. The support here was great.

I'm glad you had a wonderful experience - I've had my St. Gerard medal pinned inside my bra for the last few years.
along with my kokopelli given to me by a very special friend that I carry around in my purse.
