Please tell me........
when the time comes I dont have to stick myself with the 18g 1/2 or the 22g 1/2 needle?! i thought i was going to pass out when i was going through my bag of "goodies" and saw those needles

you definitely draw up the lupron with the 18g needle and then switch.
do you have 25g or 27g needles? The lupron you are doing goes in your stomach right?
The 22G needles are usually for the IM for the progesterone

Are you talking about the progesterone injections?
I couldn't do them myself for 2 reasons:
One being, I couldn't reach around to administer it
Two - I couldn't do any of the injections, my husband had to do them for me. I never was able to actually do the injections myself.
ETA: I never had to switch any needles for the lupron. The needles I used were the orange capped insulin needles.

good luck umm there was a 27 g?? its a very small needle. that one wasnt to scary!
oh the 22g is the one that gos in the butt?!

I just got my big box of meds last week and freaked out when I saw the needles for the PIO shots. I watched a video on youtube of someone giving themselves the intramuscular injection and it didn't look that bad. I'm sure that it becomes routine after the first few....or at least I hope so.
