WDYT of this dress? (Added another dress)

Update with new dress:
I wore this dress to a morning wedding recently. My MIL (my shopping partner until I moved away) told me I should just wear this to the evening wedding I have coming up. There's no overlap in guests and it's not quite as dressy as NY.

I'm hesitant because I want something a little less conservative and more fun. WDYT? Should I just call it a day and wear this again?

It's from Anthropologie, here's the link for a closer look.

I think it depends how well endowed you are...if you're flat chested I think cute, if at all not flat chested, I think not so cute. I know I'm not huge but I find shirts with ruffles in that location make me look huge in a bad way...

Agreed. I don't like the first one at all, the second one is slighter better.

Re: WDYT of this dress?

I think the dress is really cute, but that piece of black at the bust is throwing me off, like it doesn't belong

Re: WDYT of this dress?

I think the 1st dress is too busy all over. I don't know where to look.

The 2nd dress is better but I don't care for it though.

I would say keep looking.

I think the black one is really cute-- but would definitely need to see it on.

Thanks ladies for your input!

It does look a lot cuter on. I'm small chested so the front ruffle accentuates well. The back has a horizontal slit above the bra line to add a little sass to it.

I'm going to keep looking this weekend and if I don't find anything, I'll get this one.

Thanks for helping me look! I think that might be too conservative. I wanted to turn it up a notch. Chat Icon
