Would you switch to an HMO???

So, DH is choosing his insurance for next year and his company has added and HMO option that has IVF coverage. I currently have my own insurance through my company but I'm also on his insurance b/c the price difference isn't that much for him to add me.

I don't know the pros and cons of an HMO b/c we've had PPO's for years. We would only be switching for the IVF coverage. Would you do it??? The costs of the coverage will be about the same. I just don't know what the real deal with HMO's are.

I'd have to research it more but after today, I'm looking into all my options.

Part of me says just to forget about it. If this next cycle doesn't work out for whatever reasons, I need to turn in the towel.
