jewelry in the DR?
DH and I are leaving for the DR on Sunday (so excited!!) and he's concerned about our wedding rings. Do you think we'd be okay wearing them there? They are not flashy at all and I just hate not having mine on...

If you have diamond bands, I would leave them home. But if its a plain metal band, I would wear it. That wouldn't attract much attention.
I would defenitly leave the E ring home.

I never take any diamonds with me when going to a resort. I only wear my plain gold wedding band and leave my E-ring and saphire band at home.

I leave all of my good expensive jewelry home whenever we go out of the country. You never know! I wear my plain gold band when we are away!

I never wear my diamond bands when I am visiting a country like the DR. I don't want to attract attention but I also like to be in the water and don't feel comfortable wearing them in the water or leaving them behind in the safe.
Unless I could wear them everywhere they aren't coming.
I got a plain gold band when we got married and had it blessed along with my other rings. I wear that when I am traveling and leave my diamonds at home.

Just came back from the DR and I left my e-ring and all my good jewerly home. As others have said, I don't like to draw attention to my self when travelling.
