I hate you oh so very much. Why dont you take all that money that you steal from us if we dont have a "gift reciept" and pay someone who can actually run a website...one that freaking works. GRRRRR.....

you dont really have too much of an option...thats why they can be bullies. Buy buy baby...but nobodys touched my registry there. BRU customer service just s u c k s and their return policy s u c k s and their website never works.

Poor customer service, long asss lines always and a horrendous return policy... all of the reasons why I refused to register there for anything!! It was only BBB for me. My parents and ILs thought I was crazy but I stuck to my guns and am so glad that I did!!

I only registered at BBB also - well and Amazon too. After all the horrendous things I've heard about BRU, I just don't want to deal with them.
Gabi - people bought off your BBB registry? My fear is that people will buy what they want from BRU and I won't be able to return it.

People bought lots of stuff from our BBB registry. All of our big ticket items were there and were the first to go. They also bought small things as well.

I had a major fight with BRU today regarding the website issues that have been going on for DAYS. Totally unacceptable in my eyes. My shower is this weekend and if I get one more call that my guests can't access my registry I may just hurt someone. Don't mess with a hugely hormonal pregnant lady! 
They could not get me off the phone fast enough, they did not want to talk to me. I will be writing a letter to corporate, but having known people that work in the offices, they will do nothing about it. They wouldn't do anything or give me any answers just kept saying "we apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience." I am so DONE!
Don't even get me started on the return policy!!!! We registered before the new policy took effect and specifically asked about it when I registered and they told me there would be no problems. LIARS!
I hate them!!!!!!!

Lauren, People definitely bought off of my BBB registry. The things that weren't bought from it were some clothes and I got a BRU gift card for $150 from my Aunt who lives out in New Mexico, where there aren't any BBB stores. I'll get diapers and if necessary- formula with that gift card. No worries!!

Ditto what everyone said about BRU. Their customer svc. and attitude needs a major readjustment.
We return an item at BBB and it took just seconds! At BRU, forget it...
We should just boycott them and register at amazon.com or BBB. Don't worry bout people not buying off your registry 'cus they will get buy online and ship to you if they have to.

we should all start a revolt against BRUs..wouldnt that make the news.. a whole lot of pregnant woman outside brus across LI... picketting there policies..  Sure would be something.. maybe then they would change.
