New to this board
I've been reading on and off on this board for some time now. I have been on TTC board... DH and I have TTC for over a year and have now taken the next step in the TTC process.
I was wondering besides this board, where else do you learn about infertility and the lingo? I am trying to educate myself as much as possible before seeing an RE but I get lost when I read some of the posts on here.
We are currently waiting for DH's SA results to come in.
I wish all of us a quick BFP. Here is some baby dust for all of you

Hi there and welcome!! Hope your stay here is short. As far as learning more about IF....I actually learned a lot from this board. The girls here are actually really good about explaining stuff in a way that makes it easier for the newbies to understand...that was a lifesaver for me in the beginning. I found that if I read something on here (or anywhere else) I would either do a google search on the topic OR I would jot my question down and bring it to my next RE apopoitnment and have the doctor explain it to me. Dont worry you'll get a hang of it soon. I'm still learning myself Good luck

Hi and welcome.
There is a "lingo" link at the top of the webpage. Not sure if you ever noticed it (took me a while to see it there). You can always ask someone when you need info on an abbreviation or in understanding something. Remember, while some of us have become seasoned professionals in the world of fertility treatments, we all started in the same place. There was a time, I'm sure, where almost all of us thought we would get pg on the first try. How silly that seems now!
There is a great book that has largely been my bible in this struggle. It is called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It can be a handy reference manual.
