Re: lunch help??
Mary... I cant eat chicken either! DH has to cook it for himself!! BUT I have made it in a few ways I like it! Chicken noodle soup.. just made it tonight in the slowcooker.. and its really good... and I have been having the usual yogurt, fruit, and also hummus and pita, salads with beans, I know it sounds gross, but I really like whole wheat pasta with sauce and cottage cheese... or I have whatever we made for dinner the night before... chicken is the only thing I have had a hard time with... Let me know if you want to check out my chicken noodle soup!!! Its low in sodium and made with that pasta with protein... haha.. I must sound like a commercial..

I am a big soup person,so most days I do a variety of soups and half sandwich. I love the tomato/mozzarella sandwiches.

PB & J is a favorite! I also love egg salad.
When I am not in the mood to make anything I have a smorgishborg of whatever I can grab as I leave the house (ie, a tomato, store bought german potato salad, grape leaves & a hard boiled egg).
I also do Amy's frozen organic items a couple of times a week (ie, mac n cheese, burrito, pot pie).

Re: lunch help??
sandwich (just heat the coldcuts for a while in the microwave until it gets warm, and then it's safe), cheese for snacking, tomato, pickles....

Re: lunch help??
I bring a lot of leftovers, pasta, cous cous, etc. I also throw things together on the way out: wheat bread, cheese, apple, yogurt, crackers/peanut or almond butter. Soup will be nice once it gets a little colder out.

Re: lunch help??
My lunch choices aren;t very exciting. I switch off between leftovers, salads, soup and sandwiches (usually either peanut butter or hummus and cucumbers).
