IUI question
I am going for my first IUI tomorrow. First round of clomid. how many IUIs does the RE typically do before they recommend IVF?

Mine says 3-4 with Clomid then up to 6 with injectibles, depending on the response, of course.

We are doing 6 then IVF.. 3 no meds.. then 3 clomid.. then ivf.

Mine said 3-4, but since my insurance won't pay for IVF until we fail 6 IUIs, it will be 6 for us.
We're halfway there; I hate to think of it like that, but because of our medical histories, I don't have much faith in IUIs at this point.

Think it would depend on your indivdual situation. Age, issues, etc. I was 36 when we started and wanted to be more aggressive so we did 3 IUIs with clomid and then moved toward IVF.
