I look like I ate Shrek

And fiona is about to come...
I really hate the way I look, I know the old wives tale is when carrying a girl you get wider, but I literally feel like a house..I HATE maternity black pants, they are all too short on me and I feel like they make me look short and boxy...UGH....sorry had to vent!!!

Re: I look like I ate Shrek

Sorry-- I know how it feels to feel bad about what you look like. I keep waiting for it to get colder so I can finally bust out the boots with leggings and a dress, a look that always makes me feel good.

It's really hard to figure out how to dress your changing body in a flattering way.

I think skirts and dresses really will help-- with boots and heels. Some height always makes me feel slimmed out.

ETA--- in all your pics, you look adorable-- so, I wouldn't worry too much!!

I know what you mean. I am getting wider and wider, and had wide hips to begin with. They really did not need to expand. My arse, thighs and boobs make me want to cry. I try to avoid looking at my reflection in the mirror when I walk. On the brighter side, I like my tummy.

Thanks, thats bc i take the pics from the sideChat Icon a better angle than the front or back....I've been living in leggings and dresses, and the weirdest thing is...I HATE The way maternity looks on me...I think it makes me look sooo much bigger than I am...esp my boobs, which do NOT need to look any bigger. I was wearing a Liz Lange dress yesterday and I literally looked like a wildebeast!!!! As for heels, I'm obsessed with really high heels even though I'm tall to begin with, but have been avoiding them bc my legs have gotten ultra veiny and don't want to get the spider or varicose veins....

Dude, I know about the side pics... all too well I might add!

But, it's really trial and error... I would get a few expensive pieces that fit well, and make you feel good about yourself-- then mix and match with Target and Old Navy stuff.

Speaking of Old Navy-- I went to look at jeans there yesterday and I got a cute pair of trouser style jeans and a jean skirt-- both I thought were pretty flattering. I have yet to try them on at home-- hopefully the skinny mirror didn;t lie too much!

I got two black pants, both ridicluously expensive one from pea in the pod and one from isabella oliver, both I hate the way I look in them...as for jeans I got a good pair of sevens but have yet to wear them....I honestly can't imagine myself bigger, everyone is like don't worry, its all going to melt off when its over, I believe the belly will melt off, Im more scared of what my body has morphed into and will that melt off
As for mommyagain, my waxer this weekend, the one I used to go to but haven't in a while bc she now works out of brooklyn, when I told her I was having a girl she was like yah, totally, your azz got wide....gee thanks Chat Icon Chat Icon

AWWW thanks, i should be a professional photographer bc I can really get that right angle, where it doesn't look like I'm too wide to fit through the doorway..and please take some of my boobs, bc each one is the size of my head individually....
