Spinoff: Jon and Kate plus 8
How did they end up with sextuplets?
I know they did IUI, but was it with injectibles? Or Clomid? I can't seem to find a straight answer.

Is that a very real possibility of injectibles with IUI? Or did she have other circumstances?

From what I understand.. yes (I never did IUI w/injectibles). I do believe though that she ended up with OHSS and in the hospital because of it.
I often wonder why her Dr. agreed to do IUI with so many mature follies and not convert her to an IVF cycle.

What they have said is that they didn't see that many follicles.

Their babies are beautiful and they are so lucky to not have tremendous health problems with the 6. That being said, it was irresponsible of the dr. to do an IUI with that many follicles. I don't beleive that "they didn't see them" The minute I had more then 3 follies, the dr. cancelled my IUI (on clomid) and we were told no sex.
