Can I go swimming after an HSG?
I remember being told not to swim after certain procedures in the past and I'm not sure if an HSG is one of them... can someone please tell me if they know? 
I'm leaving for my ILs in a few (and will check when I get there if I don't get an answer before then)- I'm bringing my suit b/c my nephew wants to swim with me, but I'm not letting them know that I brought it until I know if I can or not. Hopefully someone can help me. TIA!
ETA: the reason I'm asking is b/c of infection....

I had mine on Friday and they said I could resume all normal activities

When did you have the HSG? That is how crappy my brain is these days, I don't remember anything (I can add that I forgot my meds were coming yesterday and I went out to brunch and missed the delivery...though he miraculously came back). If its more than 24 hours I would think you are fine. I mean you can BD after 24 hours. They didn't do any type of operation etc... Just shot some dye up you. Have fun! Its a hot one today.

Lol- it was on Wednesday....
I'm all confused between the limitations from the stupid methotrexate shots and now the HSG... I'm lost... lol.
I think I'll chance it- summer is almost over!

Too late now, but you can swim. You only can't swim after a retrieval/transfer....

I swam. I was nervous b/c they didn't give me any antibiotics before the HSG this time, b/c I just had them in the past few months from when I had my water sono/IVF done... but I figured it should be ok, so I took the chance. Thanks for confirming it for me though.
