renting a bag
Today I complimented a co-worker on her bag, she said, "oh thanks, it's rented." I heard of this when I watched Sex and the City. Has anyone ever done this? Pros, cons, thoughst?

Re: renting a bag
IMO, waste of $
I don't buy trendy bags. so if I really wanted an expensive one, I would save up and buy it.

Re: renting a bag
I recently looked at the Beg Borrow or Steal website and it is really pricey to do! I guess if your really like to change up your bags it's worth it but for the amount it costs you could save up for a really nice bag!

Re: renting a bag
I just think it is a little weird to share a bag with a stranger. I would also be so afraid of ruining a prada bag that wasn't mine!

Re: renting a bag
For the $$ I would rather save and invest in a bag I can keep.

Re: renting a bag
I love the idea of a new bag, but too expensive for my budget.

i wouldn't do it either. nag, borrow or steal is very expensive, IMO not worth it. maybe you could borrow a bag from a friend?

Re: renting a bag
I would only do it if I was planning to splurge on a really $$$$$$$ bag and I wanted to make sure I liked using it before buying it.

After membership and the cost of the rental, you are likely better off buying a new one. JMO
