i think i may have strep
my throat hurts. is there anything i can take? i am waiting for my lupron period (hopefully today or tomorrow) and wasnt sure if there was something i can take for it.

gargle with warm salt water I hate it but it works
Also take a spoonful of honey and lemon. That soothes too.

Call your Dr. or RE...you can probably take stuff. You are only going to start stimming so there's really no danger.
Better to get rid of it if you can.

If you have strep you will need antibiotics ASAP. You need to have a throat culture done to determine if you do or not. And i don't think there is any harm taking antibiotics during stimming.

You can and should take something (of course getting checked out first.) I mentioned in your other thread that Cipro is part of my protocol. My RE is having DH and I both take a course of Cipro the week leading up to retrieval.

i think i have strep too! all my kids in my class are so sick and my throat is killing me. i didnt start my IVF cycle yet so i dont know what u could take but i really hope you feel better soon
