Is probably a faux -paux, right?

even if it's in park. . during the day?
What about if I wear my orange flip flops?

I cannot find shoes at all!

I have a burgundy dress, and I need non- frumpy, high heeled shoes in a wide width & I can't find ANYTHING!

Well, that's not true--there are a few I've seen over $200 dollars, but I can't spend that much-- especially not for one of DH's friends! Chat Icon

My mom needs a wide width--she has had luck with Naturalizer, sometimes Aerosoles....

(these all come in other colors too, and in wide)

I need a wide width too and the only place I have luck is Zappos.com
You can actually search for only shoes that come in wide.
It helps narrow it down a lot.

Thanks--The majority of my shoes are either Hush Puppies or Naturalizer from Zappos.

I am so sick of them. The heels are so low. I want normal feet! Or enough money to buy a pair of Stuart Wietzman shoes!

I've been stalking Zappos daily, waiting for them to get new things in.

Is it super casual? Like in the grass? If so I'd say wear flip's. I bet the bride does too.

I'm not really sure. The ceremony is in the grass, but there is an actual reception in a restaurant.

I think I may have to change my dress options to work with the one pair of nice heels that I do own.

Wedges! Chat Icon I am not a fan. My friend was concerned about sinking into the grass, so she bought shoes with a squarish heel, but I was going to avoid fabric shoes

That's a part of the reason I don't want to spend a lot of money though--I don't want to get grass stains on them.

The groom is DH's friend, so I don't know a lot of details. They don't discuss this stuff like we do.
I am going to see if I can find pictures of the location.

ETA--It's not on grass. It's a sort of patio in the park!
