Haircut

I'm getting my haircut later on.

Usually I always ask for long layers. Which look great for the first few weeks, but my hair grows quickly and then it doesnt look right on me.

I also want to start leaving my hair long again, right now its a little bit past my shoulders, but I need a trim. Should I continue to go with long layers. Or Should I ask her to make it all even?

I also have bangs right now that i'm trying to grow out. Its sidebangs that are little lower than bottom of my eye.

Should I ask her to cut more on that side to create a longer bang and let the currrent one grow into it . Ok I'm prob. not making any sense
