Meridian Salon customers--small UPDATE
My DH went to pick up a pair of Reefs at X-Treme sports on Jericho Tpke. A store in that shopping center is undergoing construction and it has a sign saying that Robert and Michele, formerly of Meridian will be opening a salon there. I assume that Robert is the guy I know as Rob from Meridian, who is really good. I think maybe Michele started as a washer girl at Meridian a few years ago. She was really nice but I don't know people who use her. I'm pretty loyal to Jack, the owner of Meridian, and I've known him for almost 20 years but I'm sure some people want to know where Rob and Michele are. I'm wondering if they took anyone else from Meridian with them.
ETA: I have to thank my husband for literally taking notes when he saw the sign. He knew I'd want to know!
UPDATE: I went by the new location and I saw the sign. There are pictures of Rob & Michele. Rob is the guy I thought. I recognized Michele as a colorist from Meridian, not the girl I originally thought.

They both used to do my hair, until they LEFT in Apri,l the day before my appointment, with NO notice.
Rob is good, but Michelle is AMAZING. I agonized over whether to follow them, but decided not to. I've been going to Renee and Linda and have been very pleased.

They've been gone since April? Wow!!!! I would think that if they tried to give notice, they would have been asked to leave right away anyway. Linda and Renee are great choices, though. I need an appointment with Jack desperately. I'd try Rob sometime if he did his own blowouts, stayed on schedule and cost less. Jack gets so busy and I love how much time he gives everyone, but then he gets delayed sometimes. My next cut will definitely be with Jack.

Rob always blew me out... Only once I had someone else do it because he was running waaay behind.
I was always happy with him, but I have to say that Linda is so much better! She put a new spin on my old cut and i love it.
Rob did give notice and was wished well by Jack in starting his own business. He just asked that he not try to bring his following with him too aggressively. Michelle was fired.
