How much do you put aside each week for..
lunch...food, magazines..gum..coffee...other little things that u need to buy..

None, any money put aside has been for the upcoming wedding. We'll see what happens after the wedding.....because any setting aside will be for the house.

DH & I are both allotted $200 each per week ... that has to cover:
breakfast, lunch, cigarette's, gas for the cars, gum, candy, dry cleaning, cleaning lady, going out to dinner or ordering out and miscellaneous things.

I don't put aside extra money because I bring my own lunch to work. If I spend any money during the week, it's for gas, and that's only about 40 bucks, so maybe I put 50 on the side for gas and what not. For the most part, my expenses are very minimal these days. THANK GOD!

$80, for lunch (sometimes i bring it, sometimes i buy it) coffee, a book and weekend fun money.

I dont put any specific amount aside because my needs vary week by week, I just take out what I need, which is probably not the best thing to do but it works for me.

I live in NYC and everything is so $$$. I prolly spend about $100 a week on misc. stuff...and that's not necessarily including dinners and the once in a while shopping that may happen. It's rough.

I live in Queens and work in Manhattan. I agree that it is very expensive. A cheap lunch is still $10. I take money as I need it, which is bad I know, but I usually spend around $100 a week on lunch, snacks, coffee, etc. I really need to cut back.
This doesn't include my weekend spending money or money for miscelaneous things like laundry and all that.

i do the opposite.
i put my actual paycheck (fridays) away for rent.
then whatever money i make during the week is mine for whatever i want.
SOMETIMES ill take alittle out each week to put away for other things though.
DH does it different too. he figure out how much we need to pay for bills etc and then figures out what we hvae to spend... which i have no idea how much it is.

$80 a week for me, and $40 for DH. This covers any lunches we may buy, errands and weekend spending. Food and gas are separate.

I usually spend around $100 a week on lunch, snacks, coffee, gas for the car etc. We get $100 each a week for this only.
For clothing....any miscellaneous things we have to get or if we go out for dinner or whatever it is, we have another fund.

Because we are paying off credit cards and managing our debt this year, we are only allowed $60 every two weeks a piece for those things.
Really makes me budget my expenses!!
