Anyone NOT in the mood?

I am 17 weeks today, and all I have heard was that being pregnant makes you so much MORE in the mood.

Well, to be honest, I think it has had the reverse effect.

This happen to anyone else?

Might I also add that pre pregnancy, I Loved nothing more than tons of lovin, i couldnt get enough..

total reverse affect, I really don't want anything do with it, considering my boobs look like I belong in the circus and now i have a belly, I just can't see it being fun

Me. I definitely think about it more often, but my back pain is so bad and that always makes it worse

I wish, Im very in the mood and I think sometimes DH is scared. I swear its like a scene from Knocked up.

Angela I'm at 17 weeks too and I just could care less about gettin it on. I wanted NOTHING to do with it first trimester, my hormones were totally zapped then. Now, although the thought doensn't make me ill, i just don't feel like it. Some of my girlfriends would tell me how in the 2nd tri they couldn't get enough and i'm just kinda waiting to see if that happens cause so far, I'd rather watch TV.

Around 21 or so weeks I couldn't get enough and it was like that for a while so hang in there, maybe you will get your mojo back too!!! (However.........at 38 weeks I have ZERO interest!!)

Right now i dodge it. DH is getting frustrated i know but i just cant get in the mood. I think mine has to do with more fear than anything.

ME! My last pregnancy I was so bad at this point and I had a DH who was turned off by the whole pregnancy thing.
Now this time, I am the one who could care less and he is going nuts!
Go figure

Oh, and I am 18 weeks.

I am so not in the mood. DH tries, god love him, he does try, but I have no interest. Since being in my second trimester, I think we did it twice. If I'm in the mood, DH says he's too tired. Then I'll go to bed and when he's ready to go to bed all of the sudden he's grabbing me and of course he does it when I want to sleep.

I haven't been at all until about a week ago...I could've cared less if I got any for the next 6 months, but then all of a sudden last week (around my 17 week mark)....the hornyness (is that a word?)hit me like a ton of bricks. Suffice to say, I called the guy I was dating for a while about 5 months ago or so and well..... --hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!! He was more than happy to assist me in my needs and he reaped the benefit of the overwhelming largeness of the girls!!

Well if I could stop being p*ssed off at DH for more than 5 minutes maybe I'd be in the mood!

But seriously I've found it's increased my "mood" in certain ways (damn those dreams!!) but definintely decreased it in others.

hmmm... A few of my friends have told me that if you are "in the mood" that you may be having a boy, that boys secrete testosterone, that make you want it. All of you who don't want it- boy or girl? Right now, I have limited interest, and i don't know what i am having.

OMG me too, I had dreams where i actually feel (you know what ) and I wake up and think did that jsut happen

You always want what you can't have in my case- complete pelvic rest here (and before that we did IVF so it was a no-no then too, and after gets here, it will be 6 weeks because I'm having a c-section (poor DH ) !!!

since I'm in my first trimester, I'm actually scared! I'm sure I'll get over it soon. I'm so crampy lately so it just makes me way too conscious of what's going on with my body right now.

I have dreams too! That is so weird.. Did you ever wake up towards the end of one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was NEVER in the mood when I was Pregnant... NEVER NOT ONCE! Poor DH! haha
