How Long after Clomid
Were your follicles mature and you got the trigger shot?

Re: How Long after Clomid
You shouldn't need a trigger on Clomid, you should ovulate on your own. I would usually ovulate on CD20 - 22.

Re: How Long after Clomid
It's hard to say when they will trigger, then. Usually when the follicle gets to about 20mm.

Re: How Long after Clomid
I took clomid and O'd on cd19...I was going to take the trigger shot but I surged on my own the night before I was scheduled to go to the doctor's for the shot.

Re: How Long after Clomid
usally at 20-21mm. But once they waited till 24mm b/c of blood work not showing well .
they should always use the bloodwork along with a sono to predict when to trigger.

I needed a trigger- I never got LH surges because of PCOS.

Re: How Long after Clomid
I tend to O early, so i start going in for monitoring on day 10. i usually trigger on day 12 or 13, depending on my bloodwork. Although I O on my own, i trigger also, my RE wants to be sure we time it perfectly! I just triggered last Tuesday, it is no big deal!
Good Luck, try not to drive yourself too crazy!!! (ha, I should take my own advice!!!)

Re: How Long after Clomid
Hi Jess, I have PCOS also ans always had to trigger with Clomid. I was usually at cd15-17 and had follies from 17mm-20mm that he let me trigger with. Good Luck to you!!

Same thing here. Given my history of NEVER ovulating on my own, my RE didn't want to take the chance that I had a good follie that didn't release.
I had a 21mm follie on CD13, so I triggered that night, and I actually felt O happen on CD14. But I know that tends to be different for everyone.
Is this your first time on Clomid/trigger shot? First time was a charm for me!
GOOD LUCK!!! Catch that egg!!!!

Re: How Long after Clomid
I was a slow responder on Clomid, I usually triggered between CD21-23.

Re: How Long after Clomid
Yup this is my first round of 100mg clomid. Tonight is my last set of pills and then I go tomorrow for an internal sono, hopefully the provera induced period is over i am still spotting a little. I have had no real reactions to the clomid at all so i am thankful for that the provera on the other hand, UGH.
