HSG & IUI ??

I just got AF on Friday (Provera induced), Sunday I went for CD3 testing and I was supposed to go for an HSG tomorrow but I am still bleeding pretty heavy (sorry tmi)
I started my clomid last night (100mg for cd3-7).

My RE said I could still do the HSG after my period stops ( i think it has to be done the first 11 days of your cycle) and before the IUI.

My ?? is for anyone who has had a clomid then trigger then IUI did you also have an HSG the same month?

I had a HSG the same month as my first Clomid/IUI, but I didn't trigger that month. The next month I did Clomid/trigger/b2b IUIs and now have a DD! I think my HSG was around CD9 or so b/c AF would always stay for a while!

Thanks the HSG is rescheduled for next Tuesday so AF better be outta here by then

You shouldn't be doing a trigger with Clomid - the idea of taking Clomid is to have you ovulate on your own.
As far as an HSG the same month as an IUI - most people have very high success rates as the dye is very slippery and tends to help the egg and sperm get together.

I guess you should ask your RE about the trigger/clomid. At LIIVF they had me doing them together.

I also did a trigger while on Clomid and know women on this board have as well. For me, the Clomid would give me 1-2 good eggs but they always got too large and the longer you go before ovulating when on Clomid, the higher the chance of devloping cysts. I had to wait a full cycle due to cysts after all but one of my Clomid cycle.

I have heard a lot of stories of success after the HSG!
