Re: Best of Sephora 2008

I agree with the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, Nars Lipgloss and Amazing Grace body cleanser and moisturizer - it works great and smells soooooo good.

I am going tomorrow to get the Dior Diorshow mascara...hopefully, now that this just came out, it's not all sold out.

I will not agree however with the Philosophy Purity Made Simple and Hope in a Jar...they were not good for me and made me break out more.

Hope in a Jar gave me the worst rash of my LIFE.. it looked like I had BURNS all over my face..

and I've never had an allergic reaction to ANY makeups before.. but when I returned it, I had the rash on my face (not nearly as bad as it had been though) and the cashier said the same thing happened to her

Re: Best of Sephora 2008

I'm allergic to the Hoola brozner, but agree the color is awesome -

The Nars blush and lipstick/gloss I LOVE

But the Diorshow mascara ..........No Way. It's not BAD by any means, but it's nothing I'd rush out to buy again.

I agree. I bought it last time I heard a rave about it and didn't think it was great at all. I think Lancomb makes the best mascaras.

I want to try this

The Kinerase isn't that great. I liked Strivectin a lot more.

Re: Best of Sephora 2008

I like Smashbox eyeshadows.

i wish I could afford to be addicted to the Laura mercier tinted moisturizer Chat Icon I LOVE it...but I stick to the stila $14 less and a decent substitute.

was not really a fan of the Dior show. i am using Bad Gal last right now...it's been the best for me (Lancome does NOT stay put! hello racoon eyes)

I've never tried a Nars product...to pricey. but that 0rgasm blush is always popular.

I think I may give the Hoola bronzer a shot.

I love the smashbox primer.

it's too much for the warmer months (but most makeup is too much for me in the summer) but I use it a lot in the fall. everything goes on so smooooooth!!!

the one i got is their new formula:

smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer

What is it: A lightweight, water-based, oil-free foundation primer.

Who is it for: Anyone who wants to help even skin tone and minimize the appearance of imperfections. Perfect for oily or sensitive skin.

Why is it different: This oil-free, water-based primer refreshes on contact while oil absorbers provide a smooth matte finish all day. Light diffusers minimize the appearance of imperfections, as vitamin C and peptides help even skin tone. Wear alone or under foundation to increase its longevity.
