My Dr. Appt.
I went to the dr today and everything looks good, except for my bp. It was 160/90, so the dr has me on bed rest this week. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time on the doppler and it was so exciting. The baby's heartbeat was good and strong. My 12 week & 16 week blood test came out good as well. She gave me the option if I wanted to do an amnio because of my age and I was happy enough with the results that I had already and I didn't want to risk having a miscarriage because of amnio. I worked to hard to get pregnant and I didn't want to chance anything. She said that there's a 95% chance that the baby doesn't have Down Syndrome. Unfortunately, we didn't do a sono because next Saturday is my Level 2, so the jury is still out on the sex of little buddy. Got to wait another week.

Sounds like a great appt!  Make sure you take care of yourself re: the high BP. My OB sent me to the hospital last week for high BP plus I was having headaches. Truly put yourself on bedrest- you need it!!  Feel well!

Thanks Gabi. I am definately going to take good care of myself. I had a headache last weekend and I just thought that it was because of the weather because I do tend to get them when the weather changes. It was all in my sinuses, but they went away. I have a headache now, again, because of all the humidity I don't know if its from that. Plus I was taking a nap on the couch with my snoogle and for some reason when I sleep with the snoogle it hurts my neck. I noticed this week I had too much salt, so I know that I have to cut it.
