At how many weeks...
does the doctor start checking you to see if you're dialated?
Is it like a gyno visit and they're down there chekcing?  (Sorry TMI). I just don't want any surprises in the weeks to come.

My doctor started doing internals at 36 weeks. All they did was an internal with his finger just like if you were getting a regular gyno visit and they were feeling for your ovaries. But, there can be a lot of pressure because they have to really get up there to feel for the baby and/or the cervix.
