I'm getting old

Poor DH
He had to bury his dog this morning. We knew he had a tumor. A fast growing one, we found it on an xray in April, it got much bigger in June. Doug (the dog) couldn't lay down and breathe this morning. He looked sick. DH was taking him to the vet to have him put to sleep. Put him in the car at 7 this morning to take him to the vet and he died of natural causes about 5 minutes from home. It was his time. He was tired. He lived a good life. Now he is playing ball in doggie heaven.  He was 15 1/2 years old, DH had him since birth. Rest In Peace Pup We will miss you.

Oh my that is so sad Even though he died of natural causes it is still hard. But I am sure your DH is happy that he didn't have to put him to sleep...still it must be a very sad time for him.
