whatdya think????
I always thought id be very "pink" if i ever had a daughter...i LOVE pink things, im very girly myself...but i find that im just tired of looking at it every second of the day and shes gonna have SOOOO much of everything pink in her life... so im picking nursery colors, and nothing else is coming to me, except pink...but ive had ALOT of bad paint experiences...."oh that color is so beautiful" and then putting it on my walls and it looks like pepto lol
so i think im gonna do very pale peach (sunwashed, so its extremely light, not salmon looking) and ivory... her furniture is VERY old fashioned, antiquey looking and feminine... i figure i can now do pink, orange and yellow accessories if i wanna... whatdya think?
Is peach gonna look like 1980's fullhouse/miami vice?
if you have any walls that are peach, can you show me!?!?!?

Re: whatdya think????
i can definately consider beige/cream with pink accents, but ugh im all over the place... next thing ill end up purple lol im having a really hard time with simple desicions lately
im not so into the whole pink and brown thing, its too modern for my taste..i think it looks gorgeous when i see it paired with bold furniture and accessories, thats not what i picked out..my furniture is VERY delicate.. i like it in clothing styles, but its something i couldnt live with daily...
i think im saying peach and im makin people think "mint green, peach, mauve" very 80's
in my album the furniture that i bought is set against a pinkish/peachish wall, with more orange undertones then pink i feel like...

Re: whatdya think????
I love pink, but I do not like peach. I don't think it will look ok on the wall. Why not do a very very light pink. I too am not a fan of the pink/brown thing. Way too modern. If you want a classic style, I think I'd stick with pink over peach

Re: whatdya think????
I actually have a peachish paint in my master bedroom, its a BM color, but not sure what it is, its not a bright peach, I woudln't use it for my nursery, b ut we have have very dark wood furniture and it goes with it, I think a peach with the light funiture may look a bit miami viceish....i like the cream or beige idea with pink accents....

Re: whatdya think????
I think "Peach" is a hard color .......and I can see where your fear is re: 80's retro. But I think a pale peach with ivory would look nice with that furniture -
Maybe something with more of a yellow or beige rather than a pink undertone?
It'd def. invest in some BM samples before painting the whole room though !!
