NEED ADVICE!!!!!
about bailey my jrt. the past 3 days he has become aggressive towards the other dogs... no one hurt (dogs or humans) the first 2 times was because my neighbors dog(another story in all itself) was at my fence and bailey went crazy mad about it and then turned and went after one of my other dogs for NO REASON... that happen 2 times with the other dog at my gate.... now it was in my daughters room i was in the bathroom and i heard one of them scratching to get out and i heard a fight.... i yelled at the top of my lungs and quickly got into the room... it stopped with in the second of me yelling ... i got into the room and bailey ran out and went right under the kitchen table... i caught him and very quickly and sternly put him in the create...... i just do not get it it.... he has NEVER shown one once of aggression since i have had him
what can i do? who do i call? he in the past week has been to the vet because he got a rash (it was a reaction to something he came in contact with like a plant or something like that) and is on a topical cream to help with the iching and the scaly skin but that could not be it ... i JUST DO NOT GET IT. for now i am going to keep him in the create and call the vet in the morning. when he comes out i will be right on top of him... but i am worried now ... i know he is uncomfortable because of the rash but to come to fighting.... that just does not sound right....

Re: NEED ADVICE!!!!!
I am no expert at all but i have been told that you should never use the crate as a punishment place,, YOU are the pack leader and must some how show Baily this is not acceptable. keep them together and put Baily upside on his back in a submissive position and dont let him get up until he is completely calm and relaxed.. I would have the other dog right next to him.. You yourself have to be very very calm the whole time.. I would do this first if it doesn't help get professional advice,,

Re: NEED ADVICE!!!!!
Sounds like a territorial thing to me. Since you've recently added another dog and there are dogs around you, he/she might be having some territorial issues. Jack's are notorious for being territorial. Try spending some extra time with Bailey...take him for walks and play with him alone. Might help to resolve some issues.

i have been doing the alone time with him.. i will take him in the back yard and it will be just me and him and i will toss toys around for just him9i actually do this with all of them). as for walking him kryssy usually takes them . i will tell her to take just him everyother day and see if that helps. at night i have to have boo boo with me but i will not take any of the other ones and just have boo boo and bailey. any other thoughts on how to handle this i would be greatfull.... i have had multi dogs in my house all my life and NEVER had this happen..... first time for everything and i know i will get through this.... thanks

they usually are walked together . i have never just taken one or the other... but maybe he just needs it once in a while... today he has been very good and i have been given him alot of attention and his rash today does look alot better today. so hopefully it was just that he got touched in a area that hurt him... like i said he was never like this... so i am hoping it has do with that.
thanks for the help... i will update as time goes on
