IUI Girls Please Advise! (long)
Hey All! Hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day. I know you ladies usually have the answers to my questions on here, so thanks in advance for hearing me out. I had 2 BTB IUI's /w/ injectables on 8/9 & 8/10. I went back to my RE 2 weeks later & he said I have to take a rest b/c I have cysts due to the meds. I never got AF (5 days late & I am always to the day) but Dr. confirmed I am not PG. A few questions: 1) Do you think my cycle is messed up as a result of the injectables & has this ever happened to you?
2) I work out & my Dr. never advised me not to, but my friend who also dealt with this was told by her RE that high-impact exercise is a no-no when dealing /w/ hyperstimulation. Have you ever heard this? Please advise! Thanks!!!

Re: IUI Girls Please Advise! (long)
Hi,
1) Injectibles always messed up my cycles. For me it was shorter cycle, but clomid always made them longer. Everyone is different. And injectibles do cause cysts.
2) They tell you not to work out at a high intensity when doing injects because your ovaries are larger than normal. They say you can twist your ovaries or cause problems to them. OHSS, I notice mostly effects people with PCOS b/c they produce so many follies while stimming. Though i am sure anyone can get it if not monitored close enough. But, you would know by now if you had OHSS, you would be very bloated and uncomfortable. And I'm sure someone on here that has had it can go into details, but you would know something was wrong. They also tell you to keep hydrated so as to get rid of bloating and helping to prevent OHSS.
