Go to er or wait till tommorow?

Baby is ok im sure... but my toe!!!! i know seems unrelated. I think i have an in grown toe nail. granted i was on my feet the last 2 nites and maybe thats y it feels worse today than the last week. MY great toe is throbbing!! red and Swollen and i cant put pressure on it. You can see there is a problem cuz it looks like skin or tissue bulging from the inside which is new as of last nite. This all happen after i jammed my toe against a hope chest in my room. Im just wondering if should wait it out till tommorow and try to get an appt with a podiatrist or make a trip to er at winthrop and see what they can do. It being a holiday i dont see them having a podiatrist on but who knows. Any suggestions.

You can always give your dr. a call. But if you think it is just a ingrown toe nail I would not spend hours in the ER. They more than likely would tell you to see your dr. in the morning.

I would not go t o the ER I would use it as an excuse to take a break with my feet up. Feel better

I would skip the ER for sure. Maybe an urgent care?

ugh, sorry to hear that.

either it's a majorly bad ingrown toe nail, or it also could have fractured when you hit the hope chest. I bet either problem could be fixed by a visit to a GP... so then there is no need to even find a specialist on short notice.

Just try to find an appt with someone for tomorrow and keep off of your feet....

Weather is way too nice to sit in an ER over a toe nail. JMO...
