My ribcage!
Baby B is right up in my right side of my ribcage. Whenever I breathe deeply, cough, sneeze or just move near it I get the craziest pain. It HURTS. I don't know what I could possibly do for this. It's been for about 2 days but just seems to be getting worse. I can't even lay on that side now or apply any pressure to it.

Re: My ribcage!
ugh, I'm so sorry you're already experiencing that I guess it's becuase you've got 2 baked goods in the oven......
I'm due at the end of the month, and have major rib pain whenever I eat... I think Scone is competing for space with my stomach and intestine. It feels like a bad stitch in my side, but under my ribs... horrible It's usually not relieved until a couple major bathroom visits.
fun times......

Re: My ribcage!
Unforunately, I have some bad news for you and can you only offer you hugs . Babby G has been leaning, pushing on, and under my right rib cage since about 5 months. For a while he was breech but now he is head down and his butt is leaning on my ribs. The only thing I an say is to push him/her away with your hand and try to manipulate him/her into another position. Given that you have 2 babies in there, it's even harder. Whenever I tried to push him away he would end up floating right back into the same spot. Sorry I'm not much help. Feel better

Re: My ribcage!
I am having the same exact problem right now- and I didnt think that it could happen as early as 20 weeks....Its on my right side, just under my rib-cage and the only time I get relief is when I am standing- When I sit (especially for any length of time) it feels like I have a torn muscle...I mentioned it to the OB and he attributed it to it being my 2nd pregnancy and the stretching- unfortunately we have to grin and bear it I guess

Re: My ribcage!
Oh I totally feel your pain!!! My baby is breech and his head rests on my right ribcage. I push him down if it really start hurting or sometimes just changing positions helps. I have NO idea how I would feel if there were two in there. That's gotta be rough

Re: My ribcage!
Oh I remember that all too well...I remember telling the doctor that and him and the nurse laughing saying "what do you expect there's 2 in there"....
Kind of silly but going on all 4s helps some and sometimes moves them down a bit. But if you are short waisted there is nowhere else for them to go really....
Hang in there it'll be over before you know it and they'll be keeping you on your toes.

Re: My ribcage!
Oh how I remember that pain!! Lily's rear was nestled in my ribcage for the majority of my pregnancy....after she was born I was still a bit sore and bruised!
