Do/did you register for baby clothes?
Or can I assume people will just choose clothing on their own if they want?

I registered for just a few things that I thought were cute, maybe 3-4 outfits. I ended up with a bunch of clothes and onesies at the shower.........people love picking out baby clothes so I got a lot without registering for much of anything.

I never registered for clothes when I was pregnant with my daughter aside from basic onesies. I still recieved TONS of clothes at my shower & when she was first born. I was told it's not really worth registering for clothes because the stores can change their stock so often that what you register probably won't be in stock when people are shopping.

I registered for clothing, but everyone picked out what they liked. I got a TON of clothing at my shower.
You might want to register for sleep sacks though, I did get one from my registry.

I put one or two packs of onesies on the registry. I also registered for a few sleep sacks. I've heard it can be difficult for people to find the clothes you registered for in the store. Also, you'll probably get a bunch of clothes at your shower. If I don't get enough smaller sizes at my shower, I'll just buy a bunch of items after that.

I only put onesies, socks and hats on mine...no other clothes, b/c I think people will buy that on their own.

i did not register for any clothing. I only registered for one package of onsies and halo sleep sacks.
I received soooo many clothes at my shower. I figured that people would buy me clothing anyway and I was right :)

I was told not too unless I did it the week before my shower. The turnover in the store with clothes is so fast. Something there in June won't be there by the end of July.
I did register for the basics, white onesies, a few gowns and little snap T-shirts.
A lot of people gave us clothes at my shower and then we received tons of clothes as gifts when DD was born.

I registered for swaddle me blankets... I HAD a couple outfits online, but no one bought them 
(I put them on the registry mainly to show our style  )
we got some clothes, but frankly, much less than I thought! No fear, though... it just let me go more crazy at the outlets and in marshalls

I did, but other than the sleep sacks and a swaddle me, no one bought clothes off the registry. I was hoping that if people were going to get clothes, they would buy things I liked and needed, but it didn't work out that way, LOL.
I actually didn't get a lot of clothes at my shower, most of my guests got other registry items or other baby gifts. I did get a lot of clothes after the baby was born, though.

we registered I think for about 3 or 4 really cute outfits i loved. We didnt get them but got so many other nicer ones. Believe me, you will get TONS of clothes

ditto! And, my mom gets "mad" at me every time I pick something cute up that I see... She keeps telling me that SHE plans on getting the baby's clothes. I'm like, for how long?
