Had my first internal today and.................
...................big, fat NOTHING!! No dilation, cervix is closed up tight but I didn't really expect anything different since I'm only 36w1d. He did feel the baby's head though and said he/she is nice and low in my pelvis. Overall the internal was not as bad as I thought.........what was worse was the swab for the Strep B test. HOLY COW that hurt and I'm peeing flames since!!! 
Because I have GD they also scheduled me for an induction on my due date (9/25) should I not go into labor on my prior to then but I'm really hoping I'll progress on my own and with any luck go early. Guess we'll see!!

Sorry no progress yet, but there is still time! I go for mine next week. My swab test didn't hurt Guess they all do it differently. Heres to hoping baby comes early!

ugh. peeing flames, huh? now THERE'S something to look forward to next week!
I wonder if they'll set an induction date for me too  I, of course, would like to avoid that scenario if possible......

Me too! I went yesterday and nothing still.
I had the Strep swab last week and that was more uncomfortable than the actual internal. At least it was over quickly.
I'm hoping we all have a little progress next week!!!

I would like to avoid the induction too so I'm hoping there will be some progress by next week. I'm just getting so antsy now.....I really cannot wait for the baby to get here. I'm just cranky and uncomfortable and being pregnant isn't really so fun anymore. Crossing my fingers that all of us have some progress next week!!!

Oh good luck!! Hope you get off bedrest too so you can enjoy the last few weeks.
