Did anyone else....
Get blood test results for hcG and Progesterone but not have a date or have a doctor tell you how far along you are? I have my first sonogram next week and I believe I am about 6/7 weeks but no one told me anything! How do they calculate it? date of conception or date of last period? I am so new to this... but I think i love it already!

When they do your sono they will measure your baby and the length/size of your baby will tell them approx. how old it is

I was told at my sono and I saw the doc a week later. ETA they measured the embryo during the sono and that gave an age

My original EDD was based on my LMP, but the doctor adjusted the date after the first sono. The first sono is the most accurate measurement for estmiating due dates.

Thanks girls.. I am very anxious and I told a few people and their first question is whats the due date? and I have to explain I dont have one yet!!! only a week away... and hopefully we will get to see the heartbeat too!!!

They gave me around about date.. but didnt get a solid date until after the first sono. The sono was the most accurate and then when they did the next sono they confirmed it.
