Need advice?
So Hcg level was 14 and remained at 14 (48 hours later).
They said I now have to wait an entire week and do blood work again next Thursday.
Should I be expecting a miscarriage? If so, what do I expect?
Do I have any chance?
Thanks,

Re: Need advice?
Not sure, but it is not a good sign that your blood levels have not doubled in 48 hours

I agree, it sounds like it's a chemical pregnancy.

Re: Need advice?
I had two chemicals before this pregnancy that stuck.. I never had my blood taken, but like the others said-- your HCG should be increasing pretty steadily. So, no progression is probably not good.

Re: Need advice?
I agree with everyone else. At this stage your level should be a lot higher and have doubled at least.

THanks I would definitely ask your Dr, as it can be different for everyone. If you did not even implant, which is possible b/c of how early you tested, you might just get what seems like AF but heavier.
As for when to try again, every Dr is different.

Re: Need advice?
I'm so sorry. It's impossible to tell what the body will do. My LO passed around 9.5 weeks and I showed no signs until I went in @ 12 weeks and there was no HB. You may not m/c naturally for a while. I would see what happens in the nex t week. See what your blood results are next Friday and if you haven't gotten your "period" yet discuss your options with your dr.

Re: Need advice?
I had a m/c at about 5 weeks and it was just like my normal period, maybe a little heavier, normal cramping, etc - but I would ask your doctor to be safe. And Randella is right, it might just be a chemical pregnancy - my doctor told me to wait 3 months before TTC again....I was pregnant 2 months later.....I think as long as you wait 1 cycle, you should be fine, but that's my opinion. There are plenty of women that miscarry and then conceive again the following month and have perfectly healthy babies.

THanks
Per my post above..
I had a chemical in March.
A chemical in April.
And I got pregnant again in May-- and I am 18 weeks today.
I just counted as when I started bleeding, that looked like the first real day of flow-- like any other cycle-- as CD1.
eta-- no one told me to wait. And I called my doc after getting BFPs both times... the second one happened when I was waiting to see the RE (waiting for my appt). I finally saw the RE the day after I O'd. She put me on progesterone suppositories since I thought that might have been my problem, and I am not sure if that's what did the trick, or there was just something else up the other two times. All my tests did not indicate I had any issues.
