Registry Question

Ok, got a question. Is it neccessary to register at 2 places? Now that we know the sex, I found a bedding set I like at Babies R Us and really don't need to make the trip to Buy Buy Baby.

Now, we could register at 2 places, Target & Babies R Us, but we would only use Target for like a small bookshelf, wall shelves and maybe some little things. Is it worth it?

Thanks

Re: Registry Question

I did BRU and Target. Some stuff was bought at Target, but it almost wasn't worthwhile.
It doesn't hurt to do it and have it as an open option for some. The more gifts the merrier Chat Icon

Re: Registry Question

i registered at BRU, BBB and target.

(BBB only because they had my bedding, and they ended up being the only place that carried my travel system).

i got one thing off of my target registry (which was tiny).

i definitely think you only need to register at one place.

Re: Registry Question

I only registered at BRU although I may get the bedding and furniture elsewhere. I don't think it's necessary to register at multiple stores.

Re: Registry Question

Registering at one place is fine. I have stuff at BBB because I like it better there. If you found everything you want at BRU, just register there.

Re: Registry Question

I see no reason to register at more than one place if you have found everything you needed at BRU

Re: Registry Question

I did both BBB and BRU/. My BBB has only a few things on it but I have seen that the stores have different stuff. BRU does not have the sleep sheep or the papasan stalight swing so I registered for that there

Re: Registry Question

I registered at both BRU and Target.
We chose the majority of the items from BRU - but all the bath stuff, diapers, wipes etc. from Target. I didn't do much comparing of prices, but I figured it'd be cheaper for my friends and family who are looking to buy those things for my shower there, as opposed to BRU.
We also chose a glider and light stroller from Target because we liked them better than the ones we saw at BRU.

Re: Registry Question

register where ever the majority of stuff is that you need!

We were registered at amazon and BRU. I felt OBLIGED to register at BRU in order to give guests the option of buying a gift at a physical store. most of the stuff we really wanted was either only available at amazon, or it was 20% less expensive there.

FYI, if there are a few target items you want, but otherwise there's nothing else at target, you can also do an amazon registry... they're affiliated with target. Our linens come from target, but our registry was amazon Chat Icon

Re: Registry Question

I am registering at BBB and Amazon, I am using Amazon for things they don't carry in stores - like biodegradeable diapers, cloth diapers, and twin nursing pillow.
