Shoe size question?

I usually wear a size 6.5 but the shoes I want are avail in size 7 and up.
Have you ever gone up in size if yours isnt available--do you notice a big difference?

For the longest time when I was in junior high school my mom insisted I was a size 9 . . . I always thought the shoes were a little big, but I figured she knew better than me. Needless to say the shoes would really tear up the back of my feet. Since they were too big my feet kept sliding up and down in the them. Now I buy size 8.5 and no longer have that problem, so I would be reluctant to buy a shoe even half a size too big.

of course. they sell pads to put at your toes to make the shoes smaller. they also sell bands to put at your heel inside the shoe to force your foot forward in the shoe

If the shoes is FAB and you MUST have it, buy those little pads that go in the back of the heel ...........
