New with a question
Hi Everyone!! I just found out I am pg last wednesday. I have my first doctors appt on Sept 4- I think I am almost five weeks. I am so excited and nervous!!! Anyway I have had terrible lower back pain since last night- every position (standing, sitting, laying) hurts. I have tried ice and heat- nothing is working. I spoke to the nurse at the doctor and she said its normal...just wondering has anyone else experienced this?

Congratulations and welcome!!!!! I have had some back pain, nothing debilitating though. I think some pain is very normal. Be careful with the heat though. I was told no heating pads anywhere near the abdomen.

Hello and welcome...congratulations!!! I cant help you with back pain because I didnt experience that at only 5 weeks...but your body is going through some changes now I would think its perfectly fine. I did get awful cramp...you uterus is beginning to stretch. Maybe thats connected to your pains.
