Remedies for M/S. Please help!
I didn't have m/s this bad with DS and nothing I'm trying is working.
I've tried: ginger ale ginger snaps saltines
I don't know what else to try. What worked for some of you? Thanks.

Re: Remedies for M/S. Please help!
you are welcome. Get fruit like melon and peaches and plums and put them in the fridge. The cold helped me a lot. It helped too because I did not want to drink at all so at least I got some fluids from the juice

Sour candy (sour patch kids etc) Lemonade Ices, Ice pops Vanilla ice cream Yogurt, cheese -lots of fruit, esp watermelon!!
-Main thing I found was snacking in between meals, I wasn't doing this in the beginning and once I started it helped tremendously!
Hang in there it goes away, mine last up until 15 weeks

Re: Remedies for M/S. Please help!
My diet consists of:
plain, white toast saltines ginger snaps ginger ale sprite apple juice yogurt (only raspberry flavored)
Just eating a little of any of those things every couple hours keeps me feeling ok. Not good, just ok.
I am really hoping the m/s goes away soon.

Re: Remedies for M/S. Please help!
some of it is empty stomach related, and other parts are smell related... so clean / fresh smells like citrus combined with eating the saltines or toast.
melon was a good food for me when I had a lot of aversions... it is super-clean tasting. buttered pasta was another. I could also eat cottage cheese with fruit.
avoid being around DH when he's eating his dinner. the meats and veggies smell too potent.....

Re: Remedies for M/S. Please help!
Thank you everyone. I had a lot of food aversions when I was pregnant with our first but I didn't ever feel this bad. I just want to curl up in a ball and not do anything which isn't possible with a 1 yr old in the house. I usually wake up feeling okay but it gets progressively worse as the day goes on and I'm just not hungry at all. The thought of food grosses me out. I hope this passes soon.

Mints really help me a lot. I keep popping Mentos & chewing mint gum; it works quickly.
