Hi Ladies! Back from vacation
Now back to reality. Got AF the second day. Phooey!
Had the talk. Dh is apprehensive about giving me injections. Anyone's DH really bad about that?
We need to find out the out of pocket total for doing a round of IVF. Then we can go ahead.
I still have to pay for this vacation!!!
I missed everyone. I really didn't have PC access while away, but had a great time. I think I want to move to San Francisco.

welcome back!
While we're nervous of the injections actually dh will only have to give me the intramuscular injections. the majority of the injections are in the abdomen subcutaneously and they are easy.

DH was a little concerned about giving me the shots but fortunatly, my protocol does not call for any IM shots so I can administer them all myself

DH would never be able to give me my injections, he can't even watch me do it. I do them all myself.

well that's how much I know. I thought that there would always be some I couldn't do myself.
I have no problem doing it myself although the first time will be interesting to say the least.
First things first. Just had my breast MRI to get the all clear and then we talk to the doc.

My DH wont go near the shots. He tried but he's just afraid I will yell at him he's doing it wrong...which he's right. So, I do subq myself and I have a local nurse help me with IM shots.
Welcome back. Missed you. We might be cycling at the same time since I was delayed a month.

Didn't get in the co-culture schedule after all. And most likely missed my window to BD b/c the scheduler was out of the office. Thanks.

Glad you had a nice vacation.
My DH told me right before we started he was afraid of needles, but it was no big deal for him, even the bigger needles. I found mixing the meds more of an issue.

Ugh DH and I are having this disagreement with the giving me shots. He is refusing to give me them. He says he is very scared and scared he will hurt me. I can't find anyone that will!! My mom said no my aunt said no my two best friends said no. I have a friend who says she will do it but I feel bad making her and she's PG. my DH needs to grow a set and do it! This is stressing me out!

Attention!!!
You do NOT need DH to give you the shots!!!
I've done all my own shots...the PIO is a LOT easier if your DH does it, but all the abdomen shots are fine to do yourself. I've never even thought about having DH do them...it's so much easier for me to do it.
As far as the PIO, you could have a nurse do it, you can do it yourself - or by that time, your DH may be ready to deal with it. That's what happened with us. After seeing me give myself the stomach injections, when I asked DH to give me the PIO, he felt bad saying no.But, I've done them myself many times when he wasn't around.
