I have an apt for Tuesday and a Follow up on Sept 2, is the follow up normal? I thought the follow up was with your Dr, no?

Re: Madonna (U/S)
I always opt out of the follow up. I just sign a piece of paper and have them forward the results to my OB.
If god forbid anything is ever wrong, I rather my OB tell me then people I don't know.

Re: Madonna (U/S)
It is commonplace. Last pregnancy, they actually detected something abnormal so I was glad to meet with the counselor.

Re: Madonna (U/S)
Last year the follow up was optional. This time around they said that the genetic counseling is mandatory for all patients, then they forward the results to your OB.
