I did it...
I sold my convertable bug  and bought the family Honda Pilot. And can I tell you all I cried like an infant. Like a little baby. Made for a slightly uncomfortable moment between me and the car salesman.
I felt like it was a momentous occasion...I let go of my youth and became a mom in one key transaction.

You can get another convertible when the kiddies are old enough to drive around in one!
At least the Pilot is a cool little SUV-- it's not like you did a total 180 and got a minivan.

they were pushing the minivan...I just cant yet. Those things are intense.

DH is in the auto business. He actually has a mathmatical formula that will let me know how long I can hold off before even having to discuss a minivan.
So far I went from a 2 seater pickup to a 2 door Blazer to a 4-door Explorer. I think we are looking at either a Hummer H2 or a Yukon.....
