Great - Need Recos
I'm so upset, my Dr who I love and have been going to for 10 years just sent my a notice that due to malpractice insurance premiums she will no longer be delivering babies.
I'm not pregnant yet, but DH and I are trying. Can you please reco your Dr, if you love them? I live in Farmingdale, but my Dr. was in Garden City. I'm will to travel for someone good.

I go to Dr. Antoniadis......he is in West Islip right by Good Samaritan Hospital. I love him!!!

I got that notice too, you must have went to Dr. Scavo also! I actually switched from her as soon as I became pregnant. I went to her for a few years. I love my new doctor so much, even more than her, he spends so much time with you and is so thorough. He delivers at Good Sam, FM me if you are interested in his info. He's the only doctor in the practice and his nurse is a sweetheart.

My OB is a male and his office is in Garden City. If you are interested, send me a Fm. He's affiliated with Winthrop.

I don't have any recommendations for that area, but I just wanted to state I think it is so sad how our society is so sue-happy that doctors can't afford to deliver babies anymore.

Unfortunately it is happening a lot. A friend of the family was a very well-respected OB/GYN in NJ. The costs for insurance got so high that she moved to the middle of nowhere just so she could continue to practice.
