Need your help....please
Ok...I'm not going to go into the long drawn out story of my saga with Levitz Furniture, but basically, I am hating them right now. I was supposed to receive a delivery today...but it was a disaster. So...I cancelled my order, but I really did like the furniture.
I'm asking you all to help me find something similar to this dresser. It needs to be a light color wood....open to all suggesstions....please post pictures and/or links for me. Thanks much.

check ikea, i have seen similar pieces.. in fact i bought half my furniture from levitz and half furniture from ikea in that exact color (its a birch colored wood i think) and it all matched perfect and made sense when i had enuff with levitz, they canb be total PITA's!!!!

Do you know who the manufactured the furniture? Then you could call some of the furniture stores in NC for a quote. They will probably be cheaper. I used Blacks furniture. The piece I ordered was $600 cheaper than buying it here & it came in head of schedule.

Look at this website....www.furniturelandsouth.com
If you see something you like, you can call and find out who makes and then go to a furniture store in the area that carries that manufacturer. That way you can go and check out the furniture. If you like it, buy from the website for much cheaper. People in my office swear by it.

I don't know if they will tell you over the phone but its worth a shot if that doesn't work then I would go there & look at the display piece it usually says who the mft is. Or when a sales person asks if you need help ask them or maybe call the 800 # from furniture.com which is levitz.

I looked on Furniture.com & it says it is called "Chelsea Street" but I Googled it & can't find that anywhere else. I thikn that is the style, but it doesn't say who the manufacturer is.
Maybe you should go to the store & look.

you can try Gothic Cabinet Crafts. They have all types of furniture and finishes. Or, you can even get it unfinished and make it the color you want.

Gothic Cabinets is a good choice because you can customize your piece. Also just try some of the regular furniture stores. Levitz usually does knockoffs of their furniture.
I just bought a dining room from Penn Furniture on 112 and Levitz had the same exact set, only that Penn was a better quality wood.
