Ummm, what??
So, I work part time as a freelancer-- so, for me-- there was no real coming out at work. I told the person who hired me early on, so she knew why I was opting to work from home more often as I was not feeling well. Then at 13 weeks, I told the girls I work with on a day-to-day basis.
I work at DH's company-- so, he obviously has also told people by now. Just now, the girl that works for him stopped me and was like-- I heard your secret. Ok, I knew it was only a matter of time..
So, she asks me if I am like showing yet kinda--- and looks at my belly and is like, oh yup you are. I say-- well, I think it's just what I am wearing-- leggings and a t-shirt style dress. Right now, I just feel fat and like I ate a bean burrito.
And then she goes-- yeah, that outfit is just like *blegch*, while staring at my stomach. UMMMM-- WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
At least she told me that my face doesn't look fat!! Which, I kinda feel like my face looks puffier.

seriously, people need mute buttons.
my guess is she was trying to make you feel better by backtracking and saying that it was your outfit, and not pudge or bloat, that made her think you had a tummy.
open mouth, insert foot.
just  at her and move on. people are DUMB.

I just don't understand what she could have meant...
I mean, I try to look decent when I leave the house-- although I admit, I haven't quite learned the best way to dress my ever-changing body.
