Another insurance ? from me..

Just wondering if anyone has used more thatn one insurance (I guess it's referred to as a secondary insurance) for IF procdures/testing.

I really don't want to involve my HR lady and wanted to know how this worked. I'll be under HIP and am also covered by DH's insurance from his job.

Is that even legal??

I'm not even back at the RE and this is starting to stress me out already!!!

I'm covered under my insurance and DH's is my secondary insurance. When I went to the RE I didn't have to pay my co-pay b/c they billed my secondary after they recieved payment from my primary. So, depending on your coverage your DH's insurance may pay them also. It's best to just call your insurance and your DH's insurance co to find out what they will cover.

I actually waived my insurance from my job because I wasn't sure how it worked with IF coverage and secondary benefits. So I'm only covered by DH's insurance because he has GREAT IF coverage and I didn't really have any.
