Does anyone else get this?

I am 16 weeks... In the morning when I wake up, I have a little belly that is hard and sticks out-- like an oversized softball below my belly button.

After I pee, it goes down a little-- but, still there a little.

It's not there at night.

I assume it's a fuller bladder, slightly more protruded because of my enlarged uterus-- wouldn't that make sense?

I actually always had the opposite. My belly was smaller in the morning and larger at night...I attributed it to eating! LOL

that is generally the case for me too-- but this is only when I am lying down. I don't see it when I am standing.

Re: Does anyone else get this?

actually, it IS your uterus - when it's full, your bladder pushes it up and out, so when you pee, your uterus goes back down into its "spot" again. i had the same thing around that time (maybe a bit earlier).

ETA: and yes, you will probably only notice it when you are lying down. its the reason why some doctors (that don't do internal sonos) tell women to drink a lot of water before their ultrascreen and level II sonograms.

I figured as much-- I have been noticing this for weeks, anticipating a full on standing up belly-- but, still NADA. Still, just look like I am getting fatter. It is starting to look a little bigger though, my morning pooch that is.

Is your bladder in front of or behind your uterus?
