Ovidrel
I just went to the pharmacy (CVS) to order the ovidrel shot for next week- and it's costing me $70.00! Is that normal?

Re: Ovidrel
I guess it depends on your insurance if that's your co-pay...

Re: Ovidrel
That's acutally a good price! My plan doesn't cover Ovidrel. I paid $105 last cycle for the single shot.

Re: Ovidrel
I pay $44 at Freedom Pharmacy. That is the full price. I pay actual b/c my co-pay is $50 which is more than the item. That is crazy. Get it from Freedom if you have the time.

Freedom Pharmacy
They are a mail order pharmacy specifically for fertility meds. I used them and never had any issues. Their prices are usually a little cheaper. I think I paid $44 for my Ovidrel.

Re: Ovidrel
can't you get generic hcg instead of the name brand ovidrel? it will be a lot cheaper. I know from me there was a huge difference, even with insurance.

Re: Ovidrel
Something I was thinking about, related to my earlier post. What is your pharmacy co-pay for name brands? Maybe the clerk at CVS just saw it was a name brand and said $70. Have them look at the actual price? Might be cheaper price. I bet it is.
